  Calvin M. Johnson, Jr., M.D., is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of expertise and quality in the area of facial cosmetic surgery. Always striving for the natural appearance, Dr. Johnson is well respected for his innovations in the field. Dr. Johnson has been practicing facial plastic surgery since 1975. He is the founder of the Hedgewood Surgical Center, located in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana His undergraduate years were spent at Yale University and Tulane University. Following a five year residency in the Tulane Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Johnson completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the tutelages of Dr. Richard Webster of Boston and Dr. Walter Berman of Beverly Hills. He is board certified by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and by American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Johnson's private practice is limited to facial c osmetic surgery. He is well known as the senior author of the innovative textbook Open Structure Rhinoplasty,\n\nEyelid Surgery(Blepharoplasty), Face/Neck Lift, Forehead Lift, Surgery of the Nose (Rhinoplasty) Cheek/Chin Implants, Injections, Botox, Radiance, Restylane, Surgery of the Ear(Otoplasty) Lip Enhancement.

  I've always heard Dr. Johnson is the best. After my surgery, I believe it. My facelift, & eye lids are perfectly beautiful. Very natural, (no pulled look). The care I was given by their staff was excellent. Highly recommend.
